Semi Senior, Technical Project Manager (Data & AI)

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing and managing the production of various technology projects from Kick-off to implementation. Our projects mainly consist of ad hoc software development (backend and frontend, using technologies such as PHP, Python, and React) and/or the provision of consulting services in data projects (data generation, warehouses, ETL processes, visualization, and business intelligence).

In this role you will

• Establish contact with our clients to understand and clearly define their needs and expectations regarding Data and Technology projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to determine project scopes, necessary resources, and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate kick-off meetings, define scope, quote, establish schedules, and plan resources for proper project execution.
• Ensure successful compliance of the delivery process, maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring project profitability.
• Be the main point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and regular updates on project progress.
• Give clear instructions on deliverables and deadlines, fostering collaboration and team participation.
• Implement and lead agile rituals, such as sprints and planning meetings.
• Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Keep project status updated through management platforms such as Basecamp, Github, and Jira.
• Supervise the technical team's work, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure work quality.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience managing technology projects and teams, preferably in software development, data projects, and/or digital marketing.
• Experience in implementing and coordinating agile methodologies, especially Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Understanding of the versioned software development process, including use of Github, Pull Requests, Issues, etc.
• Solid knowledge of software development technologies such as PHP, Python, and React (programming not required).
• Basic knowledge (and willingness to learn) in data warehouse generation, ETL processes, visualization, and business intelligence.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Excellent communication, consulting (client management), team coordination, time management, good organization, sense of urgency, and proactivity skills.
